This notice applies to consumers.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. If you have ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period begins on the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

You can also declare your withdrawal online via our website. For this purpose, the button "Withdraw from contract" (German: "Vertrag widerrufen") is available to you on teppex.shop throughout the withdrawal period. After clicking it, you enter the required details about yourself and your order and submit your withdrawal using the button "Confirm withdrawal" (German: "Widerruf bestätigen"). We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal to you without delay by e-mail, including its content and the date and time of receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. This also applies to a withdrawal made via the button "Withdraw from contract".

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. As the goods, by their nature (size and weight), cannot normally be returned by ordinary post, we estimate the cost of a return within Germany at no more than approximately EUR 150.00. For returns from other countries, the cost may be higher; it cannot be calculated exactly in advance.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist for goods that are made to the customer's specifications or are clearly tailored to personal needs.

Practical notes on returns

  • Please contact us before returning the goods. This allows us to arrange collection or the shipping method for large rugs with you. This is not a requirement for withdrawal.
  • Please pack the goods securely, ideally in the original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.
  • You may inspect the goods as you would be able to in a shop: look at them, lay them out briefly and assess the effect. Soiling, odours or signs of use that go beyond this may justify compensation for loss of value.
  • For deliveries outside the EU: we do not refund customs duties, import charges and taxes that you paid in the country of destination. Please ask the competent customs authority whether and how you can reclaim these amounts.
  • If you withdraw via the button "Withdraw from contract", your declaration has been made. You then send the goods back as described above. Please keep the confirmation e-mail.
